Trojan Sports Camps 2017

TROJAN SUMMER BASEBALL CAMP – Trojan Baseball Head Coach Ryan Zaideman and the Carrollton Trojan baseball staff are offering a four-day fundamentals camp at one of the finest facilities in the state of Georgia (6-time Georgia Dugout Club Field of the Year). Campers will be instructed by former collegiate players and former Trojan standouts. 

Date: Monday-Thursday June 5-8, 9 to 11 a.m. each day with registration held Monday from 8:15 to 8:45. For campers 5 to 12 years old. Cost is $80.

The camp will focus on the following areas: Hitting skills, fundamentals, base running, defensive skills and mechanics for all positions. Campers should wear clean tennis shoes and bring their own bat, batting gloves, cleats, glove, hat and catcher’s equipment (for those who play this position).

LADY TROJANS BASKETBALL CAMP – “She’s Got Game” basketball camp will be held Saturday, June 17, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the CHS gym. Fourth grade through rising freshmen girls who are interested in becoming better basketball players are invited. Basketball fundamentals such as shooting and ball-handling skills will be a focus as well as increasing knowledge and understanding of the other contributing factors crucial to the success of the game. Cost is $30, cash only, and includes a snack and T-shirt.

TROJAN BOYS YOUTH BASKETBALL CAMP – May 30-31, 3-6 p.m., CHS gym. For rising 3rd through 10th graders, cost $40. Participants will learn and practice new skills with the Carrollton Trojan boys’ basketball staff and players. Each participant will gain valuable knowledge about every facet of the game to help him improve as a player.
Sign up in the front office of Carrollton High School. Camp fees are due by May 29. Walk–ups will be accepted. Cash or checks are accepted. Make checks payable to Tim Criswell. Each participant needs to bring gym clothes, basketball shoes, towels, water bottles, and a GREAT ATTITUDE. Contact Tim Criswell 678-234- 9349 for any questions or concerns.

CARROLLTON STEM CAMP 2017 – June 12-15, 8:30 a.m. to noon. This camp, for rising second to sixth graders, is $150. Held at Carrollton High School. Snack and lunch provided plus participants get a T-shirt.  To sign up, use this link.

FUTURE TROJAN CHEER CAMP – This one-day camp for prekindergarten through sixth grade girls will be held Saturday, Aug. 19. Cost: $40, which includes a Trojan Cheer shirt and admission to a selected Trojan football game in the fall. Registration runs through Aug. 9. JUNIOR LACROSSE CAMP – This three-day camp is for boys and girls fourth grade through rising freshmen and will be held May 22-24 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Grisham Stadium. Cost is $75 per camper. SOFTBALL CAMP – The CHS softball team will hold its annual softball camp Monday & Tuesday, June 12-13, from 9:45 to 11 a.m. at the CHS softball field (activity will move inside the CJHS gym if inclement weather). Cost is $50 if registered by June 5, $60 after. For kids age 7-13 will work on fundamentals such as hitting, throwing/catching, base running and defensive position skills.

TENNIS CAMP – The CHS girls tennis teams are hosting summer tennis camps two different weeks, June 5-9 and July 10-14, from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The location is planned for the newly renovated tennis courts on campus (if ready) with Lakeshore courts the back-up option. The cost is $100 per child per week with a 10% discount offered for two or more children in a family. 

Boys and girls who have finished kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to learn to play tennis, play games, and have fun! Email questions to amanda.folds@carrolltoncityschools.net. You can sign up and pay online here. 

TROJAN UNIVERSITY (CJHS) – Carrollton Junior High School's Trojan University, a 21st Century Community Learning Centers program, will hold summer sessions Mondays through Thursdays, May 30-June 22 from 8 a.m. to noon each day.
