Carrollton LAX fires past Union Grove

The Carrollton High School boys' lacrosse team fired off a 16-5 victory over Union Grove on Wednesday evening, getting hat tricks from a trio of standout performers.

The Trojans were led by a four-goal performance from Jaxson Crews, while Alex Schilling and Ben Carter both netted three, Ross Kasselder scored two and Dylan Mikilitus, Michael Morgan, Blaze Young and Ben Bryan all scored one apiece.

Chris Cuff and Jonathan Moye delivered strong efforts in goal for the Trojans, who play host to East Paulding this evening in a 7:55 p.m. match at Grisham Stadium.

Carrollton JV boys 12, Union Grove 3: The Trojan JV squad dominated the late game on Wednesday evening.

East Paulding girls 14, Carrollton 10: The Lady Trojans (4-6, 2-3) fell short in the road area matchup on Wednesday. Scorers included Ansley Barge with four goals, Erin Nalley with three and Taylor Cox, Melia Berry and Ansley Underwood each with a goal of their own. Goalkeeper Hailey Alewine had 13 saves.

Carrollton will hit the road again today with a 7:30 p.m. showdown at North Cobb.
