The Carrollton High School girls' lacrosse notched a program milestone on Thursday evening by hitting the 10-win mark for the 2016 campaign.

The third-year program did so courtesy of a 19-8 decision over Forsyth Central, improving to 10-6-1 on the year heading into tonight's finale.

Leigh Anne Turner led all scorers with five goals, while Maddie Willingham added three and Taylor Cox, Delaney Paul, Ansley Barge and Kaly Colquitt scored two goals apiece.

Mamie Crawford and Breanna Rhodes rounded out the scoring with one goal each. In goal, Katy Taylor made six saves.

"That's great growth for our sport and great growth for our program here at Carrollton," Lady Trojan head coach Ashley DeWitt said. "We're going in the right direction and it's a testament to the assistant coaches and senior players that have been with us for three years and the young girls coming up."
