Eleven Trojan Football Players, One Coach Honored By Gradick Sports 

CARROLLTON, GA — The West Georgia community came out in full force to the Mabry Arts Center to honor the All-Gradick Sports football team, which includes 11 Trojan standouts and one assistant coach. With a great season comes not only team accolades but individual ones.

 

The Trojans were well represented with 11 players selected along with their offensive coordinator, Coach Reggie Perkins. Running back Bryce Hicks was named offensive player of the year while linebacker Brodie Bradburn was awarded the Verland Best defensive player of the year. Freshman quarterback Julian “JuJu” Lewis received the newcomer of the year award, and linebacker/defensive lineman Jacob Levy was named Sophomore of the year. Making the All-Gradick offensive team is wide receiver Takare Lipscomb, wide receiver Caleb Odom, tight end Jordan White, kicker Freddy Perez and offensive lineman Jaylin Walton. On the All-Gradick defensive team, linebacker Montreze Smith, defensive back Kelvin Hill, and long snapper Jaiden Hamilton. Coach Reggie Perkins was named the assistant coach of the year for the team.

 

The Carrollton Trojans finished the season with a 14-1 record, making the state championship game for the first time since 2013. This team won a region championship for the third time in the last four seasons and finished the campaign with the second most points scored in school history [643].
