Chapel Hill would finally see their second first down of the game, but only because of a personal foul from Carrollton. Carrollton wouldn’t let anything else happen and forced a punt after three plays.

While Carrollton had some good looks on offense, they could not manage a first down in their final drive of the first half.

Chapel Hill saved their best drive of the first half for last. They saw a QB run go for 34 yards and they got all the way to Carrollton’s 29 yard line. Chapel Hill attempted a 46 yard field goal but Zykie Helton blocked the kick and Landon Wolfe returned it all the way back for a touchdown as the first half clock expired.
