CARROLLTON, GA — Carrollton High School marked a historic achievement Wednesday, April 2, honoring 18 student-athletes who committed to collegiate academic and athletic careers. It is the largest signing day class in school history.
The signees will compete in nine sports at the collegiate level: swimming, volleyball, tennis, soccer, dance, cheerleading, softball, baseball, and football. The diverse representation demonstrates the range of athletic opportunities at CHS and the ability of its athletes to continue to excel at the collegiate level. Following Wednesday's ceremony, 27 members of the 2025 senior class have committed to compete at the collegiate level, with that number potentially rising in the coming months.
“Signing Day at Carrollton is always a special day, but today is extraordinary,” said CHS athletic director Elizabeth Sanders. “To see 18 of our student-athletes from nine different sports commit to continuing their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level is a testament to their hard work and dedication. This incredible class represents the best of the Trojan Nation, and we are proud of each one of them.”
