Trojan track and field standout Khalen Pinkard won the triple jump national championship Sunday, June 23, at Adidas Nationals in Greensboro, North Carolina. Pinkard secured the title with a personal-best jump of 50 feet, 9.75 inches. He continues his success from the GHSA season after winning the Class AAAAAA state championships in both the triple and long jump. Pinkard will now prepare for the USA Track and Field (USATF) Summer Nationals,  set for July 21-27 in Savannah.
