Carrollton High School senior Luke Able has been named a top-15 golfer in the state by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Shooting a 65 in the first round of the class 7A tournament last year for a post-season school record, the senior finished second overall. He also set another school record for a two-day event when he shot a 68 and 69 to win the Trojan Invitational, finishing just in time to attend his junior prom that evening. Able is a two-time all-state player who has signed with Jacksonville State.
