MOULTRIE, GA—Trojan boys golf clinched their third consecutive area title at Sunset Country Club in Moultrie, GA, with a team score of 301. This is the program’s sixth area title in seven years. MacKinnley Yarbrough led the Trojans with a 72 and finished as the individual runner-up, followed by Luke Able’s 75. Davis Haas fired a 76, and Edward Fleck ended the scoring with a 78. Yarbrough and Able made the all-area team. Capturing this title qualifies the team for the state championship for the 11th year in a row. The state tournament will be held at the team’s home course, Sunset Hills Country Club, on May 20-21. The Trojans are back in action at the annual Trojan Invitational at Sunset Hills Country Club on April 19-20.
