The lady Trojan golf team finished second at the Area 1-AAAAAAA championships held at Osprey Cove Golf Club in St. Marys, Georgia. The team fired a team score of 247 and was led by junior Adeline Laney, who shot a career- best 75 in the tournament. All five golfers finished in the top 15 individually. The girls will travel to Meadow Lakes Golf Club on Thursday, April 23, for a match play against Darlington for their final event of the regular season. They will then begin preparation for the two-day GHSA state championship at Sunset Hills Country Club on May 20 and 21.
