Coach Benefield is entering her 8th year at Carrollton City Schools. She has been the head girls lacrosse coach for 5 seasons and the head girls flag football coach for two seasons. Coach Benefield graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2009, and has a bachelors of finance and education. She graduated with her masters in Teacher Leadership from Kennesaw State University in 2017 and is currently working on her specialist degree. 

Coach Benefield started her career in Cobb County and worked there for seven years before becoming a Trojan.
